Nominated for a Royal Television Society award for best documentary, this programme is about the life and works of author Michael Morpurgo MBE, the Children’s Laureate between 2003-2005

WEATHERWISE
Presented by weatherman Ian McCaskill and nominated for a Royal Television Society award, this series looked at all aspects of the weather both in the UK and in locations including Iceland and Basra, Iraq. It also explored the diverse range of work done by the Met Office.

A documentary tribute to television personality Ian Stirling for ITV1 Westcountry, looking back at his life and career

ISLAND LIFE
A 6 part series for ITV1 about the unique way of life on the Isles of Scilly, located 28 miles off the coast of Cornwall. Told through the eyes of the islanders, the programmes followed flower farmers on St Martin’s, a teenager on the remote island of Bryher, the Tresco Abbey Garden Curator, a young guest house owner on St Mary’s and a model gig maker and builder from St Agnes.

Point of View is run by Royal Television Society award-winning cameraman Mike Ford. Mike has over 25 years experience in the television industry and his credits include the following broadcast programmes:
